These central accounting offices help to receive, process and evaluate financial information from across the campus to provide consistent and complete reporting of the University's financial resources to various BYU stakeholders. Some of our duties include:
Provide support to campus entities regarding University financial policies, procedures and reporting for academic, donor and auxiliary funds
Administration of accounting and reporting for sponsored research and other programs
Administration of Investment and Endowment accounting. Provide monthly cost center reports for each speedtype (available through this web page to authorized personnel, see 'Reports' menu item)
Provide monthly summary reports of college and division results to authorized users, see Reporting on the main page
Process journal entries
Maintain general ledger chartfields to be used with campus transactions
Interact with Church Audit Department on selected reviews of University operations
Coordinate review and audits by external auditors in regard to audited financial statements
