Instructions to Download Chartfield Queries

PeopleSoft Chartfield Values Files

Every night Financial Computer Support is running a production job which creates current PeopleSoft Chartfied Data Files to be downloaded by departments who wish to validate their chartfields.

These files are: ACCTCD.DNL, SCLASSCD.DNL, SPEDTYCD.DNL.

ACCTCD.DNL
Account Code	Char 5	Position 1-5
Description	Char 30	Position 6-35
SCLASSCD.DNL
SubClass Code	Char 5	Position 1-5
Description	Char 30	Position 6-35
SPEDTYCD.DNL
Speed Type	Char 10	Position 1-10
Description	Char 30	Position 11-40
Fund	Char 5	Position 41-45
Organization	Char 6	Position 46-51
Program	Char 5	Position 52-56
Project	Char 15	Position 57-71

They are located on the Apollo Server. These files are accessible for users to FTP to their server or other platforms. Please contact Terri Jenson, 8-4252 or Gabe Waters, 8-7131 for user ID and password.

If you validate subclass, do not hold up a journal transaction because of invalid subclass code. It will be taken care of later in processing.
