The Payroll Department is responsible for paying authorized salary and wages for University faculty, staff and administrative employees.
Visitors from foreign countries with U.S. tax treaties who desire tax treaty benefits, must file Form 8233 with the Payroll Office BEFORE employment begins to avoid paying undue taxes.
Help is available in completing Form 8233 in the Payroll Office, D-55 ASB
Visitors should bring their passport and visa Form I-94, IAP66, or I-20
Staff and student employees, record hours worked using the University's Kronos time keeping system which serves as the basis for the bi-weekly payroll distribution. Due to inaccessibility to Kronos time clocks some employees may use time cards which are likewise entered to the Kronos system
Faculty and administrative personnel are paid on the last working day of each month
All payroll distributions are made to employee's designated financial institution
Payroll earnings statements are available online through the Human Resources/Payroll website on Route Y. The navigation is as follows: Sign into Route Y>select Route Y on the dark blue bar that runs across the screen>work
